Square space from which you have access to the different dependencies of the house. This term with this meaning is used in the north of Extremadura, more specifically the Sierra de Gata. It is like the pluvium of Roman houses or the courtyard of medieval palaces, but smaller and humbler and does the same function as a corridor.
